    Brake fluid, 3 4 5 dot dot dot?

    So I am aware of what they all are and what they do.

    QUESTION;How do I tell if I have DOT 3,4 ,5.1 or DOT 5 in a second hand bike.
    I know what it should have but not whats there.
    Is there a simple test...like 2stroke petrol on paper type thing.taste?thanks

    If in doubt

    Chuck it out,start again with the correct fresh dot rateing.
