About bloody time too. Both Vege and Mar come out of the same mite orifice. They taste like shit and don't smell much different either.

I've always admired the Danes for having an official register of given names for children born there (as do the French). Governments have a duty to keep Bogans under control (particularly those who can't spell) and anti-mite legislation is yet another positive step in that direction.

    Respect.

Hitcher is an odd Kiwi not loving Vegemite at least as it is so much better than Marmite.

What would I have on my toast if I went to Denmark?

So what you're saying is that because you don't like it I should be banned from eating it?

Is this not the same logic that could see us legislated off our bikes?

Nah, the flavour of Vegimite is weak compared to Marmite (as is British Marmite).

In case you hadn't guessed I'm a marmite lover. I've been known to put a teaspoonfull (or more) on each slice of bread before slapping a good slice of lyoner* in the middle.

Some will. We have a Danish exchange student staying here in July, and I shall ensure that we have Marmite in the cupboard.

what do you expect from savages , forget the marmite and Vegemite ( If they had banned Bovril one would be understandably Miffed

but Rice Crispies , how could they , Think of the children in this ,its always the children who suffer

No more collecting the plastic toys , no more getting the small six packets of corn flakes, rice crispies , coco pops ...

and they eat smelly fish ,

I feel a song coming on......

Ugh. Balu likes promite. So does my 94 year old nanna... (I reckon that's probably because the taste buds have pretty much all gone )

Yeah, I'm in the marmite corner as well. My kids prefer vegemite. So there's no rhyme or reason in my household! I'm the only sane one with taste. And I'm sticking to that!!
