BOP ride 3rd July

ahhh shit mate.... but what was the last thing we said??? lol

was it the cop that let me away with the 130k?

we had a great ride, we didn't go all the way as wayne had to get home early ... and luke ....... his worms were telling me they were hungry..

stopped at a place just outside of whakatane (SP?)

saw a few cops and one nice one turn on his radar while i was doing a little bit more than i should have... ( i was leading....) why didn't he stop me/us??????
was it because there was more than one bike and we were all doing different speeds... ie everyone was slowing .. and i was speeding up?? lol
but i was looking at the detecter and my speedo ... when it came on... i was over 130....... should have my eyes on the road hell i was lucky!!!!

coming back we went threw to the rotorua and pyes pa , to my place for coffee....freck it got COLD couldn't feel my fingers...
was told that when i buttoned off, FLAMES came out the pipe ?? WTF?? why would that happen????????????

i had a great ride, everyone behaved themselves!... except for wayne by the looks of it....
thanks guys! next time you can take the lead and show me where i should be riding(the roads!!!! )

Could have been the same cop... Good guy anyway, he let me ride home.

I suppose I needed the push to get my shit together... getting a $400 fine will do that

I deserved the $300 speed fine, lucky he didnt clock me a little sooner, I was up around the 160-170 mark... but I didnt tell him that

We had a quick ride to Ohope (see photos), but I had a meeting at 1pm so took off early... going a little too fast (see photos again) $300 speeding and $400 no class 6.

Oh well... thats expected

Yeah pain in the arse... Im flying to Wellington next week for work and am going to Melborne in a month for a holiday (wife not impressed $$$ ) so I'll need to get my arse into gear and get my class6 sometime in between.

Yeh mate I can sympathise believe me.

I lost my licence for going a little to quick a while ago and my wife, while she was understanding was very concerned at my riding habits

Melbourne, great place lots of art and different culture we went there a last year (only for a week) had a fantastic time.
