Cool how he would simply launch out of the tight corners, not a standard R1 me thinks....
I really shouldn't have had a look, I used to road race in the '70s and found myself looking at track day bikes on trade-me. Must resist, must resist

Definitely not a standard R1. I had a chat to the owner the previous track day (on the 14th), and he told me the bike was originally purpose-built for a visiting Aussie racer 2–3 years ago.

By the way, thank you to you photographers — I've bought a few and I'm looking forward to receiving them sans-watermark.

I think that used to be Gareth Jones bike. Although I don't remember it being so wheelie prone or twitchy into corners. But that's a different riding style I guess.

His name is Handsome John and he has only been riding for a year. If you think you were witness to 'AWESOMENESS' at HD, you haven't seen anything. You should see him at Pukekohe......doing 59s on a rear tyre with the chords showing and pulling stand-up, one foot wheelies, while blowing kisses!
Oh.....and he kicks around with that try hard 888 racing dude.

    darn it

no photos of me must have been too fast for the lens again

or maybe these photos were taken while I was missing a session fixing my clutch

John and his buddy on the blue r6 are fast at hamptons but really fast a puke.

jaden took a few session to get the bike set up new tyres and not his bike he was faster in the afternoon
