I bet it's nothing a shotgun can't fix.
This thread sounds like restrained statement. Hope it's not too serious there 98TLS.
Best wishes.
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
There are actually vets in Oamaru.
If it rains on your parade, use the umbrella of eternal optimism
Yes there are vets in Oamaru....but as an animal breeder for over 40 years I'm well aware of the varying standards around the country.
I can see someone with an unusual problem wanting a second opinion, particularly as a lot of vet practises now use multiple tests as revenue gathering exercises.
Good luck.
i still don't know if he's looking for a a Vetinarian, or a Vegitarian
Long story short my Border Collie was for the lack of a better word "flat" (awaiting the run over jokes) and not interested in food etc,hes only 10 months old and usually running around at warp speed. Was smply wondering if i should get him down to the vets asap on Sunday night or wait until the morning and as i posted wanted to talk to a vet if there were any on here that had a minute to spare.Anyways thanks to Stevedg for the offer of advice,Sams down at the vets and they suspect hes got a piece of bone or similar stuck in his stomach/bowel area.Bill starts at $600 but hey shit happens eh,might suggest he gets a part time job to help pay his way.

jeez, that happens.....our old dog had a feed of road tenderised Hare a few months back & suffered the same thing. We called it Crunchy bum Syndrome.
Our vet gave us parrafin which we dosed her with & which cleared the blockage but it sounds like your dog needed internal investigation. Hope the pup's feeling better![]()
