    Unbefuckinglievable.

Get a phone call late this afternoon telling me i can come and pick up my dog,i tell the girl shes made a mistake and that my dog had passed away last week in the very place she was calling from, long period of silence followed by an apology and do i mind if she puts me on hold,i tell her my dog should by rights have been cremated (didnt want the job of burying him,not a nice thing to have to do) as i requested when they offered me the service, long story short hes been sitting down there for days when he could have come home, they gave me an explanation but to be honest i couldnt have cared less i just wanted off the phone and into the ute to go pick him up.Pissed off?yea a little, probably more tomorrow but at the moment just glad to have the bugger home.

I would have been so damn well angry!!!!! What a bloody cock up and half. Glad to hear he is home safe and well.

On another note hopefully they don't bill the actual owners of the mistaken dog for the cremation (if its not what they would have wanted done).

I would expect there to be no account renedered for the operation. In fact I would insist there would be no charge for the op.

What a horrible experience to go through, but how cool you have that little fella home. Watch him with that wound too. I had a border collie and he licked and chewed at his belly after a similar operation and managed to open the thing right up. Had to get a bucket for his head in the end as he simply could not leave it alone.

I don't blame you either. Bet the little guy was absolutely beside himself when he saw you!
