He went ballistic mate, the vet chick was trying to calm him down whilst going on about "bursting stitches" but he wasnt having a bar of it leaping about like an idiot.By rights he should have been home for days.If this can happen with a dog i wonder if its happened with a human eh.

I know that feeling, same but totally different story for me. I moved house and lost my little black cat. She was such a cool animal, I missed her desperately. We did the posters and the advertisements to no avail. She was gone. Three months later I was moving again and having a few wines with a friend, mentioned how sad it was that we had not found Blackie (original name I am sure you will agree), and if she managed to find her way back we would not be there.

She left and went home. About 20 mins later she is in my driveway, tooting her horn and grinning like a mental thing. I did not think she had that much to drink and laughed at her. The reason of the grin? She had found the cat! Saw her running across the road, stopped and called to her and bingo!

I cried like a baby We still have that little black cat, and those that have met her all agree just how cool she is. I hope you get many happy years with your fella, and enjoy those takeaways

Wow, I saw you'd posted and wondered what you'd managed to say. Didn't expect that, but wickedly cool.
I did work with a guy who was told he had two weeks to live and to get things in order. This was about 6-7 years ago and I saw him a couple of weeks back. He had high cholesterol and it was in no way terminal, the doctor read the wrong chart. I imagine the person who was actually dying was thrilled when got told he/she had high cholesterol and devastated when the truth was relayed.

I imagine the vet is a stunned mullet and should be upset the mixup happened.
But still a great result for you (with a lot of heartache in the interim)

Fuck man, want a bunch of angry bikers to ride up from Dunnerz and sort it out? haha,

Fucking vets, we had to put out dog down and we paid to have her cremated, a week later I was helping the old man dump some shit at the rubbish tip, and a big truck pulled up and dumped a while of dead animals, dogs cats birds etc, and to our dismay ontop of the pile was our dog, it had a red coller with a green tag that had our name and number on it, and it was still on her, I was 12 at the time but I can remember my old man dragging her out and putting her in a blanket into the car and driving us to the vet, I remember him telling me to wait in his car while he had a word to the vet, taking the dog with him. I think I sat in that car for a good 2 hours... Anyways enough of my life story, the point I was trying to make was,
im glad your dog is alright mate,

So glad that Sam is home, safe, well and happy.
