Too late for the bald Pete. I'm 50% stoked for her and 50% jealous as hell. And probably 50% hungry when I get home. BTW, I love watching your girlfriend race. Does that make me a bad man?

It's the stress I tell ya. Make sure you look after the Old Boy then seeing as he's good enough to support your racing!

There's two ways from Wellington to Manfeild going whatever road it is. One you turn off earlier and then there's the second one, where you head down the road, cross a bridge/ford (some sort of park after 1km down the hill) and go across a ridgeline, where there's a cool lookout on the right hand side, looking down over the plains/valley/whateveryouwanttocall it - looking toward Taihape way, but not). That turn off is Vinegar Hill. I was tempted to ride the Ninja up the lookout tower, but thought that might not be a brilliant idea.

You told me you won't be in Wellington the weekend we're heading down, so I thought Henk could have a look at minefield if it's not too far out the way (he'll just have to get up earlier or something).

Oh, if you've just figured out I have no idea about directions, don't worry, my getting lost is always part of the plan, it's boring knowing where you're going unless you really need to get there. (I had to pick something up last week, had some idea where I was going, but on the way back I did my usual and decided to follow some cars that looked like they knew where they were heading - worked out well, but the rest of the trip was a bit sucky as I just got bored and then frustrated as I was meant to be at work lol)

We'll be in the van, not on the bikes (unfortunately). I thought it wasn't that far, but as I rode it, I really had no idea. So cheers for that Chanceyy, now I can work on him and with luck, time it so we can watch Mihi in action on the big track (have you sstopped at the park at the bottom of the hill? That caught my attention, but thought I'd not do tooooo much sightseeing on the way lol)

Never stopped at the park at the bottom (gay or naturalist park from memory) but the look out at the top is worth a stop on a brilliant day

i loved the lookout, but did hit it on a good day. I like to stop at things that intrigue me for names or whatever, but something about the nature colony put me off, but also intrigued. Think it was the name, and the placement, but .... glad I didn't stop now hahaha

So, if I've got it right, Mihi, we will be coming to see you on whatever weekend I said (sometime in June), so long as we can get through the centre of the island

I see you nerves didnt last long, as they call up the street stocks and your amped up and cant wait to get back out on the track.
    Good improvments all day Mihi

Will plan the RoysHill bucket meeting with you and your dad at Rd2

If you are talking about the July meet we'll probably be there as well. My bike seems to do two classes a day more often than one in any case.
Jase, might have to hit you up for a bed.
