Love the sales pitch. With a new rear cowling that thing would be a cafe'd sex machine.

I've ridden a few of them and in general I really like them as do a hell of a lot of others apparently as the price now is often more than they were new!!!! The 400's go better than they have a right to and I'd love to modify one. The only thing I dont like is the weird harold bit on the back of the tank. Cafe ing a bike that was cafe in the first place seems wrong so maybe a GB400 chopper would be the go?

    Maybe not

Who parked that POS KTM in the background?
Also is the seat lubed or have the mechanics not had a ride yet?

Mechanics have been nowhere near it since October when the previous owner spent $1100 getting various shit sorted.

owned 3 of these things in the past. Good cheap, reliable machines. Wouldn't mind another one. Does the electric start still work? Does the cam chain rattle much?

Nah, cam chain sounds real good. I'll chuck the battery on charge and see if the button still works. Whoever wired in the awesome toggle switch for ignition didn't do it too well by the looks and the ignition's always on. Hence the flat as fuck battery.
