    My new lid

.. thought those interested in such things would like a look at my new lid which arrived today. I'm well chuffed with it. Its a custom design based on the designs used by Joey Dunlop and Robert Dunlop and is based on a design done for Michael Dunlop.

Big shout for SD Designs of Ireland who did it for me and sent it over safe and sound.

..and it cost me less than than any RX7-GP race-rep I could find here - shipped. Top job.

I like the retro paint job on a modern helmet it looks very nice, looks like they did a great job.

Is this your helmet that you sent over or they bought it overseas, painted it and sent it to you ?

awesome looking lid!! Yer Maun was the man for sure.. like others I reckon the retro look on new lids looks choice.. sounds like it was a great job all round..

I've worn Shoei for a couple of decades now and have seen a new Arai lid that has taken my fancy, only problem is the NZ importers won't bring it into the country so I have to buy ex Aussie.. I am looking forward to getting a deal sorted on it soon though..

Very, very cool. I could not justify the price they were asking for the RX7 GP in this country. Ended up with a Shoei instead. Awesome design, and paint scheme.
