Took one out on a test ride from TSS m'cycles..... it does everything it should (old model) but its a twin with no 'twin feeling' ..... I would have been bored with it within weeks, yet it performed admirably for a big trialie and I would guess will do everything expected of it..... just had no 'soul'..... maybe Honda made it for them??

Why didn't you turn the TCS off and switch to Sport mode? It's from freaking boring then, I assure you.

I did turn it off and selected sport mode, I am not saying at any time it didnt perform, i said it performed well... I just found it way too 'sanitised'... no 'feel' to the motor, I rode twins for over 20yrs including BMW and Guzzi.... I even think the new Beemers are maybe too sanitised??

The R1200GSA is certainly quite smooth when on the move. It's actually more lumpy when idling at the lights...
