    Update to above post: about a week or so after that post I found the ruggedness of the defy isn't absolute, for anybody interested it will NOT survive being run over by a fork lift lol

    I think the forklift (actually I'm only guessing it was a forklift it may have been a truck) was a bit much which is why I went straight out and bought another Defy, I'm pretty sure it would survive a bike going over it, but I already tested one, somebody else can try the bike.
