Just over a week to go before the FBMC cruise the high seas to take on the Waiheke TT Course.
The local police are all cool, as is the local papers who are running a story on the event. We will be raising money for the LifeKidz programme to buy a new transporter for the kids and, weather permitting, some of the families will be meeting us off the ferry when we get gack for photos etc. The local rag here is covering it as well.
There is also a lot of interest in the FBMC 'Lycra Lap'.......you will really need to be there for that, eh......
So, the last of the event shirts have been delivered, any final details will be posted in the events section of the FBMC website at www.fatbikersmc.co.nz
Looking forward to this one, should be a hoot
Missing you already
FM
Yes well, seems I'm going to have to take the "big" Bike after all, can't miss a chance to show off aye.
Tie downs ynot slow, no they don't,so yes, bring your own. Not sure that they will be necessary but better safe than sorry.
Also looking forward to this one.
FM I promise I'll watch you doing it mate, the Lycra lap that is.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Seems to me , you've been a very busy little FM there Mark. Nice work mate.
I'm definitely coming and I'm bringing the big bike, no wussing about now. I do think it a good idea to have a quick walk on and off the ferry before attempting to ride any bikes straight on, the ramp is usually dry but the step can be anything from 2 inches to 4 so depending on which ferry, we may want to make sure there are people alongside those who'd like there to be, as they ride on.
Really don't think it's going to be an issue but for those worried about it, we will be there to help.
See ya there then, last one at the terminal is a pansy.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Kitty darl'n that's terrible news. That you can't make it , that is.
Pics will be done don't you worry bout it, K.

Have just cancelled my booking, instead of riding up with mates,we may have to go by car(seems silly to ride)and I will go with them, they're gutted at this stage for me,but to bad,so there is a place available for someone to take.If by chance we do ride up we will call in on way past to say high and see you off, bugger it all.

At moment seems we are 50-50 on riding, and if we do we will see if we can call by,staying by vector somewhere and depends on what time we wake etc,but hope to meet at wharf, seems the wife is keen to ride and her hubby wasn't lol,so will look at forecast after he finishes work, which he didn't think he had to do till a week ago, joys of management he said.
