So what can we make of this stat

Not really sure why people are complainging about it, as Maha has outlined they are two different subforums, easy to ignore one of them

In other statistical news, only 5 out of 15 of the hottest threads are non bike related. Also 3 of the hottest threads are from Manawatu

So logically it follows that Manawatu is as interstesting as 60% of all other non-bike topics

suck on that John Cleese.

The thing is that all of the 'content' of your bike build are discernible with just one view, I can read your comments and look at any pictures that you posted and then I never really need to visit that forum post again. As for a a rant'n'rave, the 'content' is user-generated. The more people that post, the more things there are to assimilate. That's the nature of that kind of content; heaps of refreshing/viewing is mandatory.

For example, do you visit the same wikipedia pages more than once? Not likely eh. However a trademe auction for some inane piece of crap will get refreshed constantly (with a crescendo effect towards the end of the auction). That's the nature of these two different types of content. Don't be concerned about it. The first form (your bike build for example) is far more valuable.

RnR and GBR are the two main forums I spend time in. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about bike mechanics (mechanical aspects of bikes as opposed to the male gender variety) and probably wouldn't recognise good advice on technicalities from a pile of donkey droppings if I sought advice here.

personally, there should be more posts on beer, and porn, as i can get KB at work, but i can't get naked pix 'sexual categories are filtered - your search criteria has been recorded for possible future reference' or some shit comes up
