The law is an ass.... he should be locked up and starved for four months with no other company but himself. He should be denied any type of hygiene services and left to rot. It's only four months of his life, he ill treated this poor animal for it's entire life.

I do find it odd that he received a harder sentence than that Kapiti repeat drink driver who hit and killed a cyclist and drove off.

Enough of the hate. While part of me agrees with SMOKEU with all the Tongan abominations recently, a deeper part of me thinks no he's wrong. To find the problem you have to go deeper than the outside. It's about upbringing. White or black regardless, if you were raised in the exact same path as the abuser in issue here and had the same life sequence of events, it is very likely you or me would perform the same atrocity. It's just like the same old shit with regos- it's not the 1000cc rockets, it's the other vehicles that don't see the bikes coming, no matter the engine capacity.
