Spare room in or near Wellys?

Hey all,

I've got a 3 week course to complete for work in lower hutt in july, so far it seems that backpackers might be my best option for a place to stay (I'll be returning to palmy for weekends). But thought it might be worth asking if anyone has a room they would like to rent out for a short stay? I clean up after myself and will probably spend most of my time doing homework so won't be any hassle

We have a self-contained batch out the back of our place. In Upper Hutt, but it's not really THAT bad.
