100 years since the Mountain Course started at the Isle of Man TT

1911 was the first time the Mountain section of the Isle of Man T.T. course was used. The route differs slightly from what is used today but only slightly and was known as the 'Four Inch Course'
One of the features at this years T.T. will be the centenary of the first Motorcycle races over the Mountain.
    Practice Starts tommorow...

    Warming up

The weather seems to be picking up now too. Which can only be good. It's been crap for the last fortnight. 25hrs and counting until first practice starts. Bring it on!
Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.

Listening to manx radio for the classic races at the moment, no mention of the weather.

the IOM wouldnt be the same without the Dunlop name showing in the top 5.
Big up to the boys for carrying on the legend.

Bunch of solo bike riding poofters

Klaffi and Sayle 147.2 mph (237kmh) through the Sulby straight speed trap on their LCR/Honda sidecar
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

    http://ttlive.iomtt.com/index.htm

list of tabs on the right hand side towards the bottom is radio, click on that and it brings up a "launch manx TT radio thingee" (or similar) hit that and your away!

I haven't yet looked but assuming races will be broadcast on sky or similar?
-or not, just checked sky site couldn't find anything
