By "fair" I meant enough to publish a one page budget.

Do you need to know anything else to decide?

I'd rather not waste money dragging politicians through the courts for breach of the rules (not broken or prosecutable, breach). It'd clog the system up. Who's going to hold them to account?

I actually wonder if the corporates really are getting more than an ordinary say in what goes on. Id say they would....
Strangely enough wealthy people often make donations to political parties simply because they can afford to. They don't want or need political favours, they do perfectly well by themselves. The reasons for donating vary from person to person: sometimes because they agree with a party's policies, and sometimes they just want to see balance in politics.

For example, Sir Robert Jones (an easy man to dislike) donated substantial money to Winston Peters. Why? Peters was never in a position to help Jones - but Jones likes an underdog.

Similarly billionaire Owen Glenn who lives in Monaco has made very large donations to Labour...and Winston Peters. He doesn't need these small time politicians, he simply donates because he is sympathetic to them.

In reality all NZ political parties struggle for money. They get sod-all.

I wonder what our jobless figures look like, because these show not enough jobs and too many people.

Sitting next to an ageing Maori bag lady in Macdonalds, 2 suitcases with wheels. Poor dear

No socks, enjoying her coffee. Her face shows autism, and she usually has a happy expression.

The wealthy looking couple sit side by side staring at the barista for a good 5 minutes while they wait. Staring, staring, waiting for their meal

I'm not sure which ones I would gas first......

At which point in time they will probably resort to crime to feed, clothe and entertain their families. So we throw them in jail... where they cost more than if they were on the dole?

Ahhh yes, we are bred to work... If you're not at school, then you should be working? What else is there?

I prefer the concept of no government, lets see what happens in NZ. I mean statistically speaking very little will change. Its not like they have made many decisions in the last 100 or so.
Also women wouldn't have to protest to vote, because no one would be able to vote. So really I have just removed a revolution from history.
