For the nobles of France, and dark mists roll round me and blot the writing of God
Written in my bosom. Necker rise! leave the kingdom, thy life is surrounded with snares.

All been done before and IMHO we need governance As " quote life would be brutish and short "
We then need to decide , planned or unplanned ? both and all of the colors in between have been tried before

Plan and execute the basics , Heath, Education and Utilities ( electricity , water and transport ) ie the basics that business needs.

Then leave the rest alone ( allowing competition to flourish)

ie internet: . government planned and run.but to a high basic level . 10Mbps unlimited up /down and if 2 degrees want to better that then fine ......

No need to rush a plan... there are already departments and departmental heads with policy guidelines in place to ensure that the basics are covered... tis just a small matter of holding enough power to influence the policy and direction of moving forwards... something a "small" number of our representatives "manage" at the moment...
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Hate to thread-dredge but building on my earlier comments about the state of our economy, this is worth the (lengthy) read.

corporate reform, easier than welfare reform... someone's been at the herbals ... Interesting ideas though... and it could work if the corporate world doesn't up and bugga off because we're asking them to pay more than they already are... shame it's just another stop gap.
