    88 GSX600FJ revving problem

I pulled the carbs out of the bike to drain them, all went well apart from now I cant get the bike to rev below 3k at all. I lubed everything up, tried changing the idle, tried everything I can think of. Even thought maybe its the choke stuck on but it doesnt seem to be that. The bike runs fine but like I said I just cant get it to rev below 3k anymore.

Ive checked the tension on the throttle cable and that wasnt the problem. Im sort of at a loss as to what to do now. Anyone got any suggestions?

Did you fit the carbs to the manifold rubbers correctly, and tighten them up correctly. Sounds like a wee air leak.

Could be the float levels, check the plugs to see if they are wet...could be flooding.
