I am slowly starting to warm to his riding style and ability, maybe I should stop watching him in the rider interviews.
I hope next year on the thousand there will be more scope for sliding the rear.

There can be no doubt now, that the 2011 title is Stoner's to lose.

Someone, or some people in Ducati must be feeling pretty rueful right now.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

As long as the Hondas win I don't mind. Seems they are back where they belong, and yeah Casey isn't a bad rider is he?
    Cheers

Whether you like him or not off the bike, he sure is amazing to watch on it!

It would seem that his reputation for being a crasher may not be all that fair (even though obviously he ended up on his head quite often), as maybe he was simply trying to win races on bikes not actually capable of it.

I doubt it very much. They knew the 1000cc era was fast approaching, and signed arguably the best development racer in the world. All that spaghetti doesn't neccesarily make them stupid.........

Seems odd that the best (and I'm not saying he ain't by the way) development racer on the world can't get his 800cc Ducati as well set up as a privateer on the same bike.

Looks like the new crankshaft has made the bike worse. Can they justify developing a bike that will be in the museum in 6 months?

I have to say,, it's good to see whorhey and semenjelly being able to casually walk away from top speed crashes. Try that at Hampton Downs.

Yeah...although the riders seem to say they prefer it.

Aye. I've parted company with a bike at around 200 clicks a couple of times, it ain't fun!

Or maybe he was pushing so hard and so close to the edge, that any little glitch had him on his head! - learning to ride at 99.999%, and no further! His fastest lap in qualifying looked like that - right on the edge - awesome to watch!

The track itself is a hoot but so much phaarkin concrete. No bloody way SBK can run there in my humble opinion. I asked Paolo really nicely at the Island to bring his circus over to Hampton Downs the same weekend he was to meet with the owners. He smiled and nodded but you could tell that we had shit show. We need a flowing safe track and a bloody huge cheque to ever see the Wsbk here in unzud again.

Ducati paid a shit load of money for someone to ride slower than Casey.
Honda struggled the last few years, picked up Casey for bugger all and he has given them 4 wins already.
I love Ducati's to bits, but I think they let their best rider go.
How to make a small fortune out of motorcycle racing, start out with a BIG fortune

I wouldn't mind betting Stoner would be winning on the Yamaha too.
