    I can't see why the back steped out in the first place, didn't look that out of line... weird.

    If he still had it wound on when the rear left the ground, and kept it wound on. It would have touched down again going waaaay faster than matching ground speed, possibly causing it to kick out?

    Rates as one of the less likely saves I've seen, whatever caused the problem.
