Spare a thought for the ChCh Central Police ...the poor buggers

These poor buggers have stood there ground for us during the quakes time and time again.....yet there own building is hanging by a thread.
If you go into town you only have to look at the building and notice its on a lean and looking DAMN scary! (it really IS that noticable)
We usually bitch and moan about the tickets and check points etc here on KB, and give the cops a bit of gip, but how these guys and girls have handled themselves during this crisis is nothing short of amazing!

So please, spare a thought for the ChCh police and what they have gone through....are still going through!.....and the conditions their doing it in......for us!

+1 It also concerned me that some were taking early retirement to get away from the building according to the article. At a time like this Chch can't afford to lose experienced police officers. The stress of the situation they don't need the worry of the building on top of it.
