Great ride, one of the best KB rides ive been on... Bruce, Sarg, 6packback, Firefight, aff-man, bugjuice, kawagreen and myself all headed down SH22... Great ride, i was on the TL with my Chloe... Tried to behave myself, did most of the time, except in two places... one on the ridge just south of Pukekawa (awesome bit of road) resulting in the loss of chicken strips on the rear tyre, as well as several bruises from chloe whacking me... And then coming back up blasting past affman as if he was standing still

Everyone had a great pace (dont know what that bullshit about you being slow kawagreen, you were putting on a great pace) and great too see your improvements 6packback...

Riders of the day, Loosbruce (fucking wicked pace topped off by wicked wheelies!!!) Firefight (Cheers for running the ride... and have you been taking lessons from rossi, because your pace is fucking fast now!!!)

Cheers for coming along... hopefully the next one ill be on the 600
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz
    Thanks Colemans Suzuki
    Thanks AMCC
I use DID Chains and Akrapovic Exhausts

that's a lot of practice spb!! Thought you did real good actually, got faster thru the day..
lets see, there was Two Schmoke with seat cover (good riding 2 up, hope Chloe didn't beat you too much!), Sarg with seat cover (great pace all round! (no offence!)), Loosey broocey (front tyre still new, one 'careful' owner..), SixPackBack (getting quick!!), Firefight (already quick..), KawaGreen (getting used to that 636, huh? good pace), Aff-man (working the tits off the cibber. good to be back..) and moi (somewhere in the middle)... think that was it...

all seen off by the spunk of the trailer park (apparently), White Trash, and Riff Raff was there to make sure he didn't knock anyone out and nick their bike! There weren't really any more moments than the usual, as far as I know, so those who left, all came back intact and with the same scruffs as what we set off with.. FF took a few shots (well, I did too, but with FFs cam)..

all in all, a good day to be had, mostly dry, with some damp patches in shaded spots, and a few gravel traps neatly placed in the middle of the road, with the usual minimal signage,, just to make sure that you're still awake..
First run in the new Sidi boots too, love 'em to bits..

Bloody top day, with bloody good riders

cheers guys, till the next run

edit - looks like TS got it in first!!

, whoops, so I cant claim to be the slowest biker in the world anymore.
I was going to try and hold the title for 2 yrs.
That was a excellent ride, one of the most enjoyable rides I have had down 22. Despite my slight detour.
Thnaks for organising a great ride Two Smoker, and errrhm thanks for going back and looking for me FF. I still dont know how I ended up in front.

    Awsome day all round.

Good pace all round, Shock is definatley stuffed but hopefully get that sorted soon. Had great fun trying to keep up with either the blue, orage or silver streak in front of me.

TS... standing still my ass you had to work that thing to get passes (oh and i backed off for your seatcover's sake )

Thanks dave... oops i mean TS for arranging the ride.

Good to meet some new people too..

Rider of the day: Definatley Chloe shit some of the stuff TS did ......
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

    Ruddy good day

Dont know why but the first time i ever went down 22 was the best i had done, after that i had done it a couple of times and just plain didn't enjoy it, wrong frame of mind, bike problems shit i dont know, just a bad day but ever since then i have pretty much stayed away from 22 and kept to the coromandel, hmm go figure.
But yesterday shit i had a ball, maybe being on the K3 instead of the TL i dont know, maybe as i was playing catch up as when they left i was getting out of bed in west akld, and i had my fast face on and a good frame of mind, i really dont know but i had a great ride and had heaps of fun, and really can't wait to get back down there again.
Was great to catch up and ride with you again Dave, has been a bloody longtime huh, even with my attempted slight detour on ridge rd.
And all the others, kawagreen as said your improvments are great as well as 6packback a few more rides and you'll be kicking it up front for sure. BJ your're getting quicker everytime i rdie with you keep it up, aff was putting on a good pace to, even sarg and TS with the extras on were never far behind. Infact the missus found out about people taking pillions along and now she wants to come out as well, Chris you got brusies huh i'll get broken hands and arms again if the throttle gets past 1/8, guess i wont chew through the gas.......

    Till next weekend

Right enough of this bullshit, you and me this saturday, im going to have chloe as a pillion and im not going to hold back... Ill keep the same throttle setting (not going over 7 grand as i did pretty much the whole ride) but go faster in the corners

YOU do realise that i went around the outside of you three times at the start of the ride, with Loosebruce as my witness...

YOU also DO realise that i had to catch up 2 odd km's through corners to catch upto you before blasting past you on the straight... AND YOU DO REALISE, that once i had given you the learn that i backed off due to sevre whacking from Chloe...

IM quite happy with everyones pace whether it is fast or slow. If you are faster than me then fair enough, if your slower than me, accept it. Dont make excuses, as i dont care and everyone should be riding their own ride...
