Yes indeed folks, right proud......
Decided to put down my pie, pick up the tools and do a home service on my beloved GV250. A certain well known KB'r came over at sparrows fart Sunday morning and after a couple of dog rolls (with HP sauce), we got into it.
Not being mechanically minded at all (if I cant get a note or a pie out of it, then I dont care) my mentor went through the whole deal top to bottom. A quck break to steam into Bunnings to top up my tool kit and we were away.
So, we did an oil and filter change, new spark plugs, checked the brakes and air filter, lubed the chain and did an all over check.
Yes I know, basic stuff for some of you more experinced tinkerer's out there, but I want to get more aquainted with this kind of thing and I freaking well loved it.
Now, I am under strict instructions NOT to name the KB legend who gave up his Sunday to be Motorcycle Yoda to this fat pommie bastard, but I can still thank you mate for being a tip tio bloke, a great teacher and proving that other people in this world can fart as bad as I can on a Sunday morning.
As most Ponsonby Road DJ's would say, "I fell like a new man......."
