    I wouldnt have said you were a novice,Just a slow old bastard,Bwahahahahaha,

But seriously,Yes,Jared Pike did 7 meetings on a set last year culminating in the Manfeild round of the Nats and was still circulating in the low 1.27s.

Short of crash damage,There should be no need to touch the bike again all year

Blardy hell Billy, you're a machine! Fingers crossed that you get the response to reward your effort. There's no cheaper way of racing and would be a fuggin' hoot.

Well done Billy for getting behind the class.

Can you point me in the direction online where it shows Prolites will be a 2011 national championship class? Or are we incouraging a group of prolites into F3/super lights? I can't find class info on the MNZ web site.

    Thanks.

just a question? why would someone pay 4500 to hire a hobag, when you can buy all out an rg150 ready to go? they seem to be pretty close in straight line speed, with the rg pwning the corners.? Just for comfort of a bigger frame?

Good point,As Ivan has pointed,Thats purchase price not lease,But the best reason outside of that is,As I understand it the 150 streetstock bikes will be allowed to run in the Prolite class but NOT score points towards the National championship.

Whoa back there young fella! Thanks for the support but this person raises a valid point and it is an open forum.

Im sure Im not going too please everybody and to be honest,I dont really care.If it gets 1 or 2 more bums on seats then Im happy,If not I will just take the $30,000.00 Ive invested and bugger off somewhere else.

maybe my words sounded harsher than I intended?? I was just trying to say encouragement of something like this should be welcomed but the way I read the wording posted was he was calling your bikes shit (Im sorry if you take this the wrong way whoever you are who posted it),

also you have to look the RG's are old they are not making them new any more and most fo them have had the living daylights thrashed out of them, Most require rebuilds from what i have been reading as of lately maybe its streetstockers getting carried away butas a initial ammature class you dont want to be worrying about the bike going bang you want to be able to get out there get your bum on the seat and get time on the track then go up to 125 etc were you need to worry about performance and longivity, I am not saying either that a streetstock bike should be raced and parked up you should treat it as per any racebike bring it home from the meeting clean it check everything is fine service the oils etc check brake pads the lot

From what I have seen the Hyosung 250 is a pretty cool looking bike and especially if you are going to move up to pro twins the experience riding a baby v twin with a wider frame is going to help out, the RG is also a great bike I raced one loved it, but as I have said they are a old bike now
