As he said himself, harrasment is a term that can only be used when the "harraser" as no actual business in contacting the complainent.
Indeed, and hopefully it will be read by the scum, and give them a wake up call. What constitutes proof of transaction though? a lot of time it's an internet thing, and not much of a way to prove that they are who they say they are, and that they took your money. Is it only good to go if the drop kick admits he recieved the money?

If the "drop kick" had never received the money, he would have responded to the original court filing as such, and not ignored it. If he DID claim never to have received the money, court could quite easily and legaly request statement of account from the "drop kick"s bank. Then he'd possibly be in more shit for providing a false statement to the courts.

    agreed.
He makes it clear he is not a failed law student but is a notice server/repo agent of some sort. He says in one post he usually delivers these orders but this time he was also the initiator.
As to harassment he also made it clear that the blog started well into the dialogue and after eh had decided he need to take court action as he was posting it as a lesson to those not in the industry. There had been plenty of chance before thsi stage for the scumbag to have made good and all politeness had been exhausted by the time the blog starts.

I spent a couple years working in recoveries and have been through these legal proceedings many times, that was an excellent read.

I always kept it firm but polite, but yeah process servers are generally pretty gnarly guys who are excellent at getting their point across in a colourful way.

As far as harrassment goes he read the guy beautifully and went for maximum reaction whilst staying pretty much within his rights, the debtor was a massive tool which helped.

Yep, a bit of knowledge around debt collection can get you quite far in this world.... I have just finished a fight with GE Finance (which I won) but had I not have had the experience that I had had I would not have known to get everything in writing and to ask for the right information along with collecting and documenting my evidence - they would have kept fobbing me off.
Long story short GE ended up paying 6 times more to Baycorp than what they accused me of owing them. Took 6 months to fight them and I would say that someone with less knowledge of the collection process thann me would've been fucked over.

Aaron is my hero, he dealt with the situation brilliantly!

yeah, okies. I can see your guys point.....I was seeing Red tho when I read it last night. Am still thinking this Aaron dude is a fucking king sized wanker tho.

Yeah, the rip-off chap deserved a hiding / pay-up, whatever. But Aaron didnt do that. He did way too much more.

Makes me think of a 20 year old guy who hit someone he shouldnt have, and then got Decimated by a 3rd Dan Ninjitsu coach....imagine if the coach gave out the hiding over a long period of time, and every few seconds jumped on the internet to Gloat about how he was destroying someone, and describing to others how the other guy is reacting. ok, a bit OTT...but similar kind of sick.

the whole checking facebook, posting 3rd party conversations, etc....was it for $200? Was it to educate others? Nope, it was to feed his own Ego mostly.

I know a few guys still early 20's that made mistakes. Luckily they were treated with some dignity and respect.....and yeah the legal system 'got them' - didnt need this maniac.

But....im off to find a bike thread. Ciao.

and he was told how much he would have to pay if the guy bothered to take him through the system. The douche called his bluff and lost big time, good on Aaron for sharing the story so others know how to do the same.

What an awesome read! Loved the youtube serving papers video. All too often do people get away from ripping people off because the amount is so small and it is too hard to learn the system. I wish I had the know how years ago when I got ripped off for substantially more than $200.
