    Batman helmet

You really know you’re really making it in life when little kids in the supermarket stop and point at you in the aisle: ‘mummy, look, it’s a BATMAN helmet!’

Who else has one/ wants one/ has psychotic hallucinations and thinks they are Batman?

My furry leathers don't have quite the same appeal.

Yup - I got much Kudos with the lad when I came home this week wearing one. Seems like a pretty decent lid. Fits my head well - pretty light, comfortable. The only downside is that it seems pretty noisy. But nothing a pair of earplugs won't cure.

-Edit- good Article btw! I got one as it seemed a decent quality entry level lid that fitted well. INteresteing to see someone else has rated it as noisy...

An owners update on the Batman Lid.

Probably a brilliant occasional use beginners helmet. Would seriously recommend other options if you are looking at an all seasons, high use lid though.

The noise levels in this helmet only become more annoying not less. Airflow through the lid is primarilly masses of air coming up past your neck and over your face - so in cold weather it is damn cold. Having bought a loverly neck tube thing from kathmandu I have found that the airflow from the made for purpose vents is very poor. With the bottom of the lid sealed the lid fogs up so easilly it's not true.

I guess the bottom line is don't be fooled that this is anything but a budget lid. Should hopefully keep you safe if you need it - but if you are planning on being an all weather biker - consider investing in a little more on your lid!
