took the girls out to buy pressies for mums birthday... then went swimming, had lunch... just awoken from a wee nap, about to head for a wank in the shower then eat a roast chicken dinner... with any luck I'll get some later and stagger into work tomorrow with burning thighs and a constant semi ... firewood, that's so quaint
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Stuck new rotors and pads on the front of my truck,
Took my race bike down to my sponsors and put it in his office/show room,
Polished the inside of the boat,
Now just about to feed and shower the children, book and bed.....then..

Sit down and watch the GP and have a beer.

Finished post earthquake re-painting of house, washed bike (earthquake muck) then adjusted and lubed chain, cleaned out tap filter in hot water line to kitchen (more earthquake muck), gave Mrs Oakie a backrub (followed by some afternoon delight ) and now just started cooking tea (proper pork sausages, mashed spuds, asparagus and brussels sprouts. Even managed to go for a couple of very brief squirts on the bike A) to warm up the chain before lubing and then B) to gas up for work tomorrow. Bike wanted to go fast. I wouldn't let it. It's been a good day.

Spent most of the day writing news blogs and updates for my website following my recovery. And been talking "shop" with other halo wearers across the world. The rest of the day I was dreaming about my written off R6 and how I'm going to try and replace it.

Nice sleep in followed by a leisurely shower. Down to the stupid market for a fw things. Home and made shin bone soup Attempted a snooze, got my clothes sorted, and meals planned for next week. Intended to give Millie a damn good going over and clean, but got distracted by the sofa :snooze:

Lovely, lazy day, in anticiaption of a short horror week in payroll

Fun aren't they. 2 days to what normally takes 3. All part of the game though. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Thank you. It will be "interesting". It is really funny doing this job. People ring constantly and you answer the phone and deal with stuff. You ring people for clarification of something, leave messages and wait. You send endless emails that dont get answered. I always know how my week is going to go, by the size of my "shit pile" on Monday night

I took a call from one of our area supervisors a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday afternoon, she said to me "Payroll is all done and dusted then?" When I asked how she knew, she said she could hear it in my voice

I am so happy to have my Millie to go home on, she really does blow the cobwebs and clear the brain, and best of all, leaves a big grin on my face at the same time.

    Lucky you getting afternoon delight
