Average trowel is average!
I snapped another one (different bike this time) about a month ago. In two weeks I plan to buy another. How much of a job is it to remove the old and fit a new one? I'm thinking it might be easier to trailer the bike to a local shop, but I'm sure it's worth a shot before hand.

Take the tank off. loosen off the two screws holding the throttle assembly together. Run the new cable right next to the old one.connect up the new cable at the bottom end and leave any adjusters loose.take ru=ight switch block apart and fit the cable at the throttle end. Put the switch block back together. use the adjusters to take the slack out --and bobs ya uncle

If it's as easy as replacing a clutch cable then its no sweat.

take it into atomic, he will cut you a new cable and if you ask really nicely he might even help you change it. Tell him gareth (u have to mention my ZXR) sent you and he may even be a little nicer to you.
