    Fark, its been a while since I've seen a sportsbike come out with its speedo drive off the front wheel, well not the ones I've been paying attention too anyway. Even my ancient 1997 GSXR750 is driven from the box.

    Seems like a backward step, don't they expect us to change our sprocket ratios anymore!

    Yeah, that is quite common these days.

    My 1992 CBR250RR has a gearbox driven speedo aswell.

    I guess I've been riding for awhile,always on older bikes never late model in any era - some of these bikes were older than me at the time.I still like old bikes - just not the fuckwits that own them...the pedantic ''oh,they never came out in that colour in the last week of july!'' or the disposable income that would ''like a classic bike''

    Hey thats the best thing about the XS groups an clubs,They don,t care about that stuff.Be it stock,chop,tracker,cafe,pristine or rat,Every body gets on
    But then you know that anyway
