    Rainbow Warrior

I got a text from my little brother this morning: "I'll be up in Auckland today, working on the Rainbow Warrior." OK I thought, I'd better go see the little long-haired hippy.

Went down to the viaduct and met up with him, went aboard and took the tour (cheeky bastard even signed me up).
It turns out that greenpeace are having a big concert next weekend to comemmorate the bombing of the first Rainbow Warrior, it's $40 and being held at the St James, there's quite a few big names playing so get along there and support a good cause

Well said that man. Greenpeace are a bunch of thugs who use the environment to justify extremist behaviour. To me they are no different to the anti-abortionists who bomb medical centres.

Greenpeace will never get a cent from me.

    funny that

i used to be quite a strong supporter for greenpeace.
I like the aspect that they 'sometimes' do something.
But putting up banners dont mean shit all - how about assasinating Prez's and CEO's......now that would solve problems.
I found GP were shit, cos i see their 'donation money' go to fucked up 'overheads' - like the new Mitsi AirTreks (x9) just for the auckland region. Makes them as bad as the corproations they attack. Bunch of Wankers.
Dont even get me started on CCF, WWFN etc - all wankers with 'overheads'.
Fundrasing is full of shit, when i feel like helping someone else from now on - i do it my bloody self

Bullshit!! The media keep refering to it as a terrorist act. They need to look up the definition of terrorism.
I laughed when I heard that Americans stopped contributing to Grinpiss when they heard how they sank that french ship in that harbour in Noo Zealand

    T'was no crime against me.
Grinpiss were lucky that it was done in our harbour, they could have timed the bomb to detonate at sea.

BTW why do you want Osama do to our dirty work?
Spoil our 'holier than thou' image?

Nice to see that the gross generalisation and over-exaggeration brigade are out in force.

Since when have Greenpeace been anti motorbikes? Maybe I missed it in this years annual report, maybe it's that swastika or my 'hippy' hair getting in the way again. Or maybe I’m too stoned to read?

Greenpeace has been campaigning for greater rights for bikers, better road design to consider biker safety, lower taxes for bike users (in collaboration with Transport 2000) etc in Europe for over a decade. !!??

These anti-Greenpeace tirades are surprising. You might not think that their methods are always the most appropriate, but I find it hard to dismiss their aims. When all the world's seas are barren, the land turned to desert and the air poisoned, you might like to ponder the question whether, in the end, these long-haired hippy layabout eco-terrorists might perhaps have been onto something...
