Only thing annoying me is trying to concentrate on writing up my menu plan and equipment lists etc.. for the Culinary fare. Maybe Satriani isn't helping right now either? lol

Good thinking that man! I have not had a smoke in 18 months and dont even think about it now. The first couple of days when the habit wanted feeding were probably the worst, but if you have made the decision to stop smoking you will be fine. All you have to do is not have one smoke, and that is easy.
I was a heavy smoker and had smoked for over 35 years, I simply decided to stop and did! Never regretted it. Your industry is notorious for smokers, stay focussed.
48hours have passed, thinking about it now i could have fundraised for the world vision thing. lol ohwell. and i just keep myself occupied, and mentos..for fresh breath![]()
walked away from the smokes a year ago, savings went into a bike, gear, licenses.... and a nice side effect....everything smells nice.
may the force be with you!

We have a woman that has recently started working in my office. She is a smoker. The smell of smoke was very obvious when she first started. She has elected not to smoke during work hours (she is the only smoker, and it is a bit lonely out in the carpark by yourself) no pressue or anything, her call.
Now all i can smell is her baccy! She is a Port Royal Smoker and it reeks! Imagine saying that, not so long ago I used to enjoy the odd rolly Port Royal![]()
My parents have been smokefree for over a week now. Makes me glad to think that my clothes, and the house, won't smell like the bloody things anymore.

You know this is something my kids commented on. Despite the fact we never smoked in our car, and always smoked outside, when we eventually stopped, they commented on how nice our house smelled. We had non smoking forends visit us and say the sameI know that now, but when you smoke, no matter how much you try to make things "not smell" they still do.
Reading this thread has made me want a cigarette even more now, such sweet smoke, ah that's it I'm off to the garage for a smoke.
