    +1

How much is the TAB paying if Simo actually completes the race?

Casey smashed the lap record, Spies spoiled the Honda qualifying party, and Vale's none too happy...

Edit: Julian Ryder is on form.

Can anyone explain to me why a young Australian was able to deliver wins and a Championship with the Ducati but the Italian goat can't get on the front row? He has changed everything but the chassis and the heated handlebar grips but still struggling. If Hayden beats him at Mugello I think he should think about retirement. If a customer Ducati beats him he should hang himself in his trailer. No offence people,,I'm just sayin!!

Isn't the problem that Ducati changed the chassis drastically after Casey's championship win?

This has all been discussed at length. Sometimes even by people who presumably know that of which they speak?

There are some authoritative sources around and these are quite often referred to hereabout, including in this thread.

Well, the English version is new...

There are others, and some of the riders (and at least one mechanic) have facebook or twitter pages but these do tend to be somewhat sanitised(?).

To answer part of your question; the bike Stoner won his title on was completely different bike and was able to be ridden successfully by other people, notably Capirossi and Bayliss. In recent years the Ducati has pretty much been a career killer for everybody except Stoner.

Rossi, Burgess, etc are trying to make the bike more rideable, the more problems they encounter, the more apparent it becomes what a great job Stoner was doing.

Rossi desperately needs track time to develop the new bike but the shite weather of recent weeks culminating in last nights qualifying farce isn't helping. Neither is the fact that Ducati are running into trouble with their engine allocation numbers and may have to start some races from pit lane before the season is over.

    We await developments with interest.

    Dry to wet qualifying

They were all out there running laps, seems Casey got the timing of his run just right. It was alternating tween dovi, lorenzo, simo and stoner, with crutchlow, spies having a turn at the top.It started to rain with about 20 minutes to go so they all went in.Rossi and Hayden came out on the end on wets to keep the fans happy, then a few of the other guys came out on wets too.

the lack of practise time is really hurting them.Apart from a few flashes in the pan i dont think we will see much of Mr Rossi this year. This is for two reasons. As well as the problems with the bike(s) I think he is marginally slower and there are some genuinely faster(or as fast)younger guys(and bikes)

Jorge is screwed. I was wondering how long it would take Spies to do the same thing to Lorenzo he did to Mladin.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
