Straight from the MotoGP site are these stats http://resources.motogp.com/files/re...df?v1_1bbc98a6 which shows top speed isn't everything else the Ducatis would be winning lol.

Don't believe everything these boys say...it was racer speak for "I got beat"
Yeh but your one-eyed.
Lucky my ass,Jorge was hungrier. Is Casey going into protection mode already?could'nt blame him if he was,he is a bit wobbly under pressure.
Its all about in and out of the corner, if you cannot do that, it dose not matter a shit how fast you are on a streight
Spies bike 8 Down mmmm

Nah...it's more than likely an honest answer to "What happened?"
Nah...I can appreciate skill no matter who shows the most on the day.
Nah...I think they're both as hungry for it...and I don't think that's correct at all. I seem to recall Rossi chasing him round Phillip Island applying immense pressure and he got his but kicked by some of THE most agressive riding/racing I've ever seen.
They can't have the perfect bike set up every race mate. Still...I hope Lorenzo does get closer, as there's nothing like a down to the wire season!!!
It being Independence Day at the time?
When asked on Twitter if he thought this was the end of Rossi, Hayden replied,
"NO u must be lighting more than fireworks 2night wherever you are."
Perhaps that could also explain some of the recent comments hereabout?
Legal highs of course.

Spies pass on the inside of the last corner of the race was the highlight for me.
I trully believe that if Yamaha produce an = competitive 1000 next year, Spies will be the 2012 champion without any bad luck for himself or other riders, he has the smarts of Matt Malladin, and the Calm of Eddie Lawson, and the BALLS of a man from TEXAS, Schwantz-Edwards AND GUNS

Ah well - Stoner went out and did a 1.47.3 in testing today!
Must've had the right pressures this time!
“- He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.”
That last lap pass Spies made on Simoncelli was poetry in motion.
Oh, to have been a fly on the wall behind closed doors with all the Ducati top brass present at Mugello...There must be some 'vigorous' debate going on between Filippo Preziosi and the team/bosses.
And, yeah, Stoner's 1:47.326 in testing...![]()
Knowing the tech they use at ducati , I would like them to get the bike sorted , going 1000cc will ( I think ) mask the problems ie they may start getting up the pointy end , but the fundamental problems will still exist with the bike. ( I think)
Its the same with the Virgin F1 team ...I KNOW they are at the back or not running at all , but they are leading in the technique of CFD, it will happen , just a matter of when.

I am just back from Mugello. What a weekend! What a place! If you EVER have the slightest chance of making it - like I did - then you MUST go. A European GP (Italian or Spanish - maybe the Dutch) is like nothing else in this world. The crowd was INSANE. The circuit is amazing. A licorice strip on lime icecream! Just want to get on my track bike and ride it (which is what the crowd could do when the GP is over - they open the gates and the crowds swarm onto it - including people on their bikes - as in 3 up no helmet doing wheelies thru the crowd - and the cops just standing around smiling...). Tuscany is a beautiful part of Italy as well.
Crasher - you are right (for a change)
