Yep - was indeed. While there also saw Devil from KB and he should also have some good pictures. I will put some up tomorrow.
My next one will be in Motegi in September. I did that one a couple of years ago and while it was good - it doesn't compare with Mugello. Valencia/Catalan/Jerez or maybe Aragon (which Spanish one?) would be my next choice if possible...

As I said awesome find
No WONDER it aint going to turn in ..my first impressions are , crank very high; Rake, my old chopper has better cluch , also very high
you would have to grab this thing by the scruff of the neck to get it round the corners, then it will want to wash the front , as for heat in the tyre ,,that aint happening
I ll try to take some measurements of the pic and get some sort of data ,,,

It is all JOHN BRITTEN's FAULT? Take out the forks, put in some Girders instead and hey presto, BRITTEN MOTORCYCLE
Mounting the front end direct of the motor like that just does NOT WORK, ( Every single pulse on and off the throttle is 100% transfered to the forks and wheel and tyre) Fuck even ERIC BUELL has built a better Carbon Fibre frame than that by 100% He at least did not try to reinvent the wheel, just made it a shit load lighter.
The engine needs to be seperated from the suspension actions, front and rear and not used as a BRIDGE to fill a gap. Engine's in a cradle allow you to divorce/add/change Flex in the chassis front and rear by forward rearward upward downward movement, BOLT size holding the puppy in, amoun of bolts holding it in, many many options, the current thing is extremelly limited with what you can do with it.
YES it could be made perfect for certain tracks, but never a good all round bike in my mind, and the testing to find the base setting for a good all round bike on certain tracks is impossible and exspensive, again I say, BRING BACK THE TUBES
Re Ducati and BRITTEN, Myself John and Mike broz were invited to the factory years back when we were testing the Britten in Italy ( MONZA)prior to the TT, we were taken to the design room and introduced to there main man the STH AFRICAN dude ( Cannot remember his name) He took us to his PRIVATE design room and showed us a NEW CLAY mould of an up coming project bike, he had Copied the FRONT FAIRING design of the BRITTEN and the end of the seat to a T, John was very proud of that! John also gave the factory one of his 1000 motors that mike and I had stripped down so they could see how the Britten worked and why it was so fast motor wise, they gave us a lovely dubbly pasts and wine lunch in re teturn, bahaha Tight fuckers

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
Some people are starting to agree with you , Even old Spalding from motogp is making noises towards tubes .... Looking at that photo , I become more impressed with stoners riding ability ,,,
Hope Ducati get it sorted , I for one would like to know how they will do it

When stoner won the Champoinsip, was the bike still runing the tube frame?
