    Right.

I think I might have waited a second just to make sure the idiot in the car didn't do exactly what they did do...

You could wait forever and they would still only pull out at the exact time you are along side!

Nah - I'd get past eventually - just hit warp factor 10 for a second..."CRASH! bugger!"

Yeah .. I've had a few cars try that one .. luckily I've either managed to brake in time .. or blast passed without a hit ... (even had a bike do it to me once ...)

    But always scarey ...

Most interesting there is what happens to the car. No reason for it at all, other than surprise causing loss of control. There's a lesson there, too.

I was towing a trailer on a passing lane heading south into Te Kuiti, was passing a slower guy also towing a trailer, who decided to pass the slower car in front of him when I was already up to his drivers door. Luckily it was a passing lane in both directions and we just went three abreast, I put me foot down and passed the lot.

Twice on the motorway in Auckland I've been forced into the median by B trains who think that one flash of the indicator is enough warning when you're already passed the first semi trailer.

I'm assuming the car carrying the video camera was a law enforcement vehicle, if so - FAIL.

I had a truck & trailer unit do this to me on Monday morning just north of the Awakino Gorge heading to New Plymouth. I was wiiiide awake after that!
