    Auckland traffic wardens moonlighting

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/ar...ectid=10735563

Auckland Transport communication manager Mrs Hunter considers no rego a "safety issue" in a no exit street at 2:00am!
She's obviously well skilled up on the dangers involved with this type of scenario. I can only presume that if it had a rego, it is unlikely that anyone could accidentally drive into the back of it.

Yet another good reason to stay away from Auckland, it's just not safe with all the unregoed vehicles parked around the place overnight.

damn, thats risky of the wardens.
If I caught one of them down my quiet cul-de-sac street, looking closely at my car at 2am, Im certain I would mistake them for a home-intruder, and act accordingly.

Hmmmmm its almost like they got some kind of list of unrego'd vehicles and their registration addresses........

I have never seen a warden go down a cul-de-sac before........

I think it would be a fooken serious safety issue!

Any traffic warden snooping around a vehicle at 2.00am would be in serious danger.
