I have a Jet Leathers "Sturgis" jacket that is modelled along classic lines. I never wear it - would sell it for $200...(cost me over $500)

You'd have to ask what weight of leather they used, but probably no worse than some of what comes across my table. For some, looks are EVERYTHING! and if you're into old bikes, then it's nice to have gear to match your bike. We not all sprotbunnies

I have one very simular to those...
open neck / angled pocket zips etc
    but the belts gone...
A bit tight these days... must have shrunk
    though lack of use..

Think it cost about $70/80 notes back in the
    late 70s..

I love this stuff. I completely lust after the Schott "Captain America" Jacket.

I love Belstaff too, though I sold my vintage Trialmaster. I've got a Black Prince (Albert) jacket I wear all the time.

    Great site, thanks for that.

I'd like some jeans from these guys (those Iron Heart ones) but no way can I afford them:

Wipe it over with baby wipes for a start then gently heat it and soak it with a leather waterproofing gunk. Lots of brands around. have a search through the gear thread , there have been several options put forward. Word of warning, mold and age both weaken thread. it may be that the jacket is not one to trust your precious skin with should the unthinkable happen

I wondered about that. they do seem blimmin pricey for what they are, even in US dollars.

Bugger, shame that leather shrinks that way. I had a classic biker jacket back in the day..cost me all of $50 from Hunters and Collectors in AK. Great jacket, well worn in, comfy as. sigh, not like the beast I have now.

The size stamp is a little blurred (read "very") but I think it's XXL - saying that, I'm no giant but I wore it for about six months and didn't drown in it. You'd be more than welcome to try it if you wanted.

I've got a Belstaff Trialmaster....but despite its classic looks I leave it and my Mike Hailwood replica pudding bowl in the wardrobe.

I'd like one of these for the Darmah...
