    I asked my tester about that before I sat my restricted. He said do whatever you are comfortable with ,as long as you are stopped. I always had the rear brake on while stopped. Has become a habit now.

    This is the sensible thing to do. Ask the inspector what he expects to see at a stop sign. There is another thread somewhere covering this and it appears that there is no fixed standard as what they are looking for to confirm that the bike has STOPPED. so if he says he wants to see you stopped for 3 seconds do that, if it's looking both ways 15 times then that's what you do.

    Make sure you check down side roads and roads you drive past every time
