Makara - Jville ride Friday 8 July

hey all, Poorbastard and I are putting a shout out to everyone intersted
in joining us student bums in a friday afternoon ride through the deep dark wilds of Makara.

Meet up outside Karori Park, (down Karori Rd) uh around 12pm? will confirm the time later today and update the post.

Why Friday?

Saturday I'd be keen as, but most of us work weekdays.

Watch that road...it's not in the best condition. There are roadworks from the Makara Village to the Makara Beach turnoff and then from the turnoff to J'Ville the road is in terrible condition. Take it real easy!!

unfortunately I work mon-wed, with uni in there too, then work sat and sun...

but i might be doing some morning weekend shifts soon, so I can go PM riding on a weekend hopefully! yay!

Argh stink! I'll be up in Taupo, otherwise I'd def be keen. I'm pretty sure the cafe down there is still closed.
I popped down today and yep - the bit where they're removed the trees is real dodgy - there's one pothole (on your way back) that must be a good 10cm deep! You might notice it on the way down.
