iPads are cool. You can get all sorts of addon accesories for them. Including iWave and iFlouro - making you popular and visible while web surfing safely.

What does an Ipad2 thingy do that the MacBookPro thingy I am using cannot do?

i'm not very techno-literate so enlighten me, it has no pistons so it doesn't make sense

Serious A. Nothing that I know of...other than its farken portable as...makes a notebook/laptop feel like an antique.
"But" theres lots that a iPhone and iPad cannot do (well) that a notebook/laptop can do.
You really need to buy everything, iPhone, iPad, iBook, iMac. If you dont believe me, just ask 'Steve".

My flatmate has a miniature laptop (Not a notebook/netbooky thingy) and it's disturbingly powerful. I don't know of any practical use an Ipad thingy can offer over any of the computers in our house.
I built a ZZR600 for $400 more than a decent Ipad thing and I bet you it's more fun
