I travelled through India in 97 with a 72 yr old called Doug Sunderland. (google his life on bikes).
This year, he is attempting to lap Australia again.
I think that any old dude on two wheels is a fucking legend.

He was 83, riding a motorcycle in the middle of winter.

Most of those questioning his claim on being a motorcyclist took the bus or the car to work today, as it might rain or get cold.

    Tell me Sable.

Do you ride in the rain ? Or do you ride on sunny days, revving your engine at the lights and telling everyone you have trapped in a corner how fast you are ?

Good call. I am amazed someone had not tried to bash the police and blame them earlier, as is usually the norm around these parts.

The poster you replied to needs to think a little more as to WHY emergency vehicle have WARNING lights.

So? It doesn't make you a 'better' person though does it?

Scooters are just another subgroup with more subgroups within, including the odd groupies like any other motorcycle group with subgroups and including all their groupies.

All linked by risk and expense and a grin full of dead bugs....

Good to know I'm not a motorcyclist any more since I have a scooter as well.

Scooters are a blast, all you haters should get one. they're hilarious.

Bit of mental re-calibration required riding my scooter home on Wednesday after test riding a new Speed Triple.........

Last week I thought Sable was a cock and told him so. This week I'm afraid that the term cock is actually complimentary to him and to be honest if I came across him strewn across the road engulfed in fire I doubt I'd bother to piss on him to put it out.

You are a supreme fucktard Sable. Time to grow up a little & show some respect to others; motorcyclists, sccoter riders & other human beings in general.

    On "Stuff" today.....

*An elderly man also died in a scooter crash in Tauranga this week, however, indications suggest the accident may have been caused by medical reasons, and the crash has not been added to the official road toll.

Oh look, some 'facts'. Looks like it could've happened to anyone one of us.
