    another one for you electrical geniuses........

    making my guest appearance again.....gotta make a DC to AC inverter....im clueless....something about a frequency oscillator...just some of the words proposed to me by the intellectuals.........but im none the wiser...so there.....SOS time again guys....schematics appreciated...or references to sites...i checked a few sites but the ones on it scare me.....

    These days it's usually cheaper and easier to buy something ready-made to do the job. Is it a fairly standard configuration?

    Yip and what sort of current? And what are you running off it? (ie) much simplier to create a square wave output than a modified sine wave, but may not be good enough for some aplications

    Cartronics have some equipment to do that sort of job as well.

    Scenario is that my power source is 2 car batteries...so its 24V and umpteen amps....need to pass it through a set of 2 transformers to get a final output of 10-15V at 1-1.5A....need two sets of each---DCto AC converter,bridge rectifiers and transformers....hope this helps....
