Ive run out of fucks to give
Dunno, he used to ride with us until his crash and I see he hasn't posted on here since 28 December 2006 - that is a while ago.
Cheers

The last time I saw him was at Bruce's funeral.
"Standing on your mother's corpse you told me that you'd wait forever." [Bryan Adams: Summer of 69]
He's not riding bikes and from memory one of his arms is a bit stuffed after the accident. I spoke to his mum a couple of years ago and she said he's been pretty quiet recently.

Lifes not kind or fair and motorcycles can REALLY fuck you up if you are unlucky. Dave was very unlucky and it wasnt fair at all what happened. That whole accident still leaves a bad taste in my mouth and it never sat right with the Police as far as I could tell.
IMHO Daves worst injury was not his arm.
I tried to do what I could and stay in touch but end of the day the difference in our ages and the distance away we lived was probably too much yet I still feel shit about it. Vicki and I liked Dave and we did a few miles with him too - wish I could have done more.
Shit - I reckon next time I'm over that way I'll try and drop in. Hope one of you does too.
Last time I saw Dave was a couple years back at Southern Cross Hospital in Newtown where he was working. We were taking our eldest boy in for an op. We had a good long chat but nothing's come of it since.
And Matt - his arm is a bit more than stuffed. The accident tore the motor nerve leaving it paralysed.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yeah I wasn't sure how bad his arm was. I saw his mum when I was in Southern Cross a couple of years ago but she was on leave when I was there again in March this year.
I liked Dave, his accident was probably about the same time I stopped riding so I kinda dropped of the radar a lot.
