How does it stand up to heat? Like clutch covers and what-not?
I've been thinking about trying some out for a laugh

Just Plasti-dipped my XT660X. Happy enough with the results, just hope it's reasonably durable as I use this bike mostly in winter.
2 cans were enough to apply 5 coats to the handguards, tank covers, headlight surround and front and rear guards.
that looks pretty good! did you find a local stockist?
Autozone in Kaiapoi. There is a list of stockists on the griffiths.co.nz website. They are for sale on trademe also.
Just used half a can of this stuff to freshen up a few of the black pieces on my Bandit 1200, also redid those disgusting tacky chrome airbox covers in black. The finish is fantastic, the only prep work I did was to give the parts a good clean. Apply the spray liberally and it flattens itself out while it sets. Awesome product.
Saw this video on Youtube. Not just black!

There's this really cool search engine called Google. It's free and is your friend.

Since plasti-dipping my whole bike I've learned a few things:
- It will scuff easily especially if you're climbing back and fourth through twisties often (crotch vs gas tank)
-Scuffing can be minimised through application of silicone,
- Cheaper brands of silicone spray will dissolve the plasti dip and you will need to re-apply
- The shit does not always peel off in one piece, after much wasted time I ended up using degreaser to dissolve the stuff and wiped it off with a rag.
- Gasoline drips when filling up will dissolve the plasti dip instantly (effectively any solvent will eat it for breakfast)
