Ok if this ride is a go then I'll be along for part of it. Just need to see a map to see how much of a part.

well, shall we knock it on to Sunday then? Since more people can ride on Sunday, and the weather looks to be more predictable then, then it does Saturday?

    ----------------------------------------

k, well the meeting spot is attached. Botany town is just across the road from it.

The map of the route is the other one. The light green is the route to take. The arrows is kawakawakawakawakawakawakawakawakawa bay, for fush un chups. We can then either turn back, or carry on the route. The mid-green route is a slightly longer addition, the darker route is slightly longer still. Don't mind what we do.

This does mean, motorway riding, just a precaution. We'll stick in a group on the motorway anyway, so anyone who isn't sure about it, can stick in the middle of the pack..

Ok sweet that works so I can join on Sunday aswell. I'll just leave off at Kaiaua or Waitakaruru, depending on wich route y'all take, and then bugger off to Tauranga. $30 for gas should be enough sinceit will be 100k speed for the most of it.

Wouldn't it be kaiaua for fish and chips????

This would be a better route as it skips out that nasty SH1

Hay Waylander, do you want to meet up in Hamilton before this and go up together? Bike should be finished today so itching to get out.
The real mystery is how come that fat bastard Hurley has never lost any weight.

I'm happy for it to be Sunday, if everyone else is. Bit dodgy to change a ride, and not know if everyone is happy with it.
And still meet at Cyclespot, but I'll meet on sunday. Can't be arsed meeting Saturday and waiting..

Is this going to be a fast ride or slow/moderate ride?

slowish I guess.. but whoever takes off ahead often waits anyway, so it doesn't matter. Just enjoy the cruise, that's what it's all about

Kityhawk, could you change (edit) your first post, and change the title to 'Sunday Ride' instead of Saturday, if we're all in agreeance on this...?

well - actually - I'm not in agreeance.
If you want me to schnap a few it's Saturday - but I'm not stressing.

It's usually the Kaiaua Fish and Chips place...that's where we stopped on the ride Feint organised a month or so ago.
