The vege band is a bit silly. It would be much cheaper to use real instruments...

I've got three little vege gardens scattered around the property. About to expand on one as my children are very interested in growing our own food. Daniel's favourite is brocolli and Rebekah loves carrots. Only bugga is it takes so long to grow and the soil needs warmth so at this time of year, slow growth even with all the manure and stuff i've put in over summer....waiting

Dont be fooled into buying tom's seperately..may seem the cheaper option at the time (because adding the per kilo amount against items in bag is usless with a calculater) but its not...three tomatoes cost me over $7 when a packet of six was around the $7 mark anyway....fuckers

Yeah, the only toms in my house at the moment are in tins. 98c. Got loads of lemmings in the garden but they are a bit bitter on a sandwich.

    Gonna get worse, too:
    http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/5277...t-food-prices/

I've got a full 1/4 acre section that I'd like to put into veg gardens (less space for the house and sheds, of course) but a good third of it is under water.
    Rice paddy maybe?
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
