    Decent entry level boots?

Anyone point me in the direction of a pair of half decent, comfortable good looking boots that wont cost me a fortune? Picked up a nice Arlen Ness jacket off a mate, got some Draggin's ordered and im picking up gloves this week if I get time, its just boots im stuck on, as we dont seem to have much of a range here in gisborne apart from MX gear...

I bought a pair of 1tonne blitz road boots for $150 just recently. They seem to be well made and are very comfy. No issues so far from me (done about 1000kms in them). Good value for money.

Billions to choose from mate. Best advice is to go try some on as the sizes vary MASSIVELY between brands, and even between models. Took me ages to get a pair that weren't too tight in the ankle so just keep trying them on until a pair fits.

I got some Motorad boots off trademe like a year and a half ago,
I ride my bike usualy 6 days a week, sometimes 7 depending on what I have to do etc, They were water proof, comfy, had great toe sliders and shin and heal protection, and up to last week have been perfect boot to wear daily, I need new inner soles but I may just buy another pair, they were $100 when I got them,

Hard one to describe as I always seem to have trouble with shoes, boots etc. Mostly with width as i have quite stumpy but wide feet

And yep, I always set my budget a little higher as I dont mind spending money on good gear, without getting ridiculous.

Haha I have flat feet but im a size 12 but my feet are usually too wide for the shoe/boot, I found the ones I mentioned earlier pretty good though

Yep I can relate 100%...typical Kiwi feet in my case except I have a high instep just to fuck it up a bit more.
The only boots I can fit are Gaerne's which aren't price too badly for the quality level that they are.
100% try boots on before buying

Don't they just!!!!!!! If you cannot get to try them on, I have a pair of 1 tonne (not same model) very comfy but not water proof as described. I wear a pair a Dri Riders too, they are pretty good and do the job but are not as comfy for my stumpy feet as the 1 tonnes!

My daughter has a pair of these and she loves them...

Haha probably not much help but hey you can get OK boots for under $200, try them first if you can.

Good luck and enjoy the ride!

I just went into my local and said I'm looking for new boots .. and got really good deals.

I bought some Gaerne Adventure boots for $180 - been sitting on their shelf for ages and not selling so I got them cheap ... and a pair of TCX race boots for $250 ...

The TCX squeaked like hell until I sprayed them with chain wax (oil and graphite lube never stopped the squeak).

Both boots were very cheap and extremely comfortable to ride in ..

So just drop into your dealer and ask .. if its the shop you bought a bike from they'll probably give you a good deal ...

I've been riding for over 15 years now and I have given up on ALL motorcycle boots. Too expensive and don't last for any length of time ( and I have tried all sorts of models) quite often they are not comfortable to stand or walk in for any length of time either.

These days I have gone for a cowboy boot. Comfortable, solid heel and last for years!

Now now none of that, we're not all tight cunts ya know

And I figured if i'm gonna do it I may as well do it once and do it right, same with everything i've owned, without spending an absolute fortune on stuff I don't need

Should have also mentioned I'm after something a bit lighter as I hate the feel of anything overly bulky that I don't have much movement, I'm good at missing details
