Racing Underground has gone for good but some of that team have set up a new site. https://www.racingfor.me

While I am not a Pedrosa fan - he is a talent and I think not getting enough credit for how tough he is. On numerous occasions he has ridden hurt and injured. The not shaking Simo's hand was a bit naff - but in his opinion Simo had ruined Pedrosa's best chance for a MotoGP World Championship. Look at his results prior to Le Mans.
Qatar 3rd, Jerez 2nd, Portugal 1st, Le Mans taken out and broken collar bone.
Then first race back nearly fully fit (he did come back a bit too early and ride for points in Mugello) Germany 1st again...I'd be pretty fucked off.

Thanks for that. I got the email about racingforme.

I completely agree about Pedrosa, he was my pick for champ this year, and while he may have glass collarbones... he's still a tough little prick.

Pedrosa has had WORKS Hondas and Repsol money for how long? And at the risk of upsetting you fans on here, he has phucked around with what should have been the open cheque to a Championship. Both he and Dovi have squandered their golden opportunity and they need to move on. Don't even start me on Capirossi! Bring on the hungry young riders who are begging for a ride.

I think this is Dovi's third season on the factory bike but let's face it, who is gonna do a better job than Dani and Dovi? Only one person can win the championship each year so that doesn't mean that everyone else should be replaced.

I can understand someone like Dovi being kept on as a second rider to the so called 'top' rider in Repsol etc...but when Pedrosa or now Stoner are hired to actually WIN the championship, and repeatedly fail to do so, I think it's reasonably fair to expect you may loose your job.

He came back healthier and won...what...three out of the last 5 races? But you're abviously forgetting that he's also raced with a wrist that was still fucked, and kept riding.

Besides...Stoner has won a championship...Pedrosa never has. How's that sit with you?

Kevin S thinks Stoner was wrong to sit out a few races when he was crook...yet quit a few races into a season. So who is the biggest pussy out of those two?
Haha, just winding you up mate, I saw Stoner after climbing off a bike and it he looked like death warmed up. How the fuck do ya race when you are puking into your helmet? But he did, and still beat most of the field.

Pedrosa is a bit of conundrum. The Honda's haven't looked this strong since....since....since Rossi left really. Hence I reckon Pedrosa is so bitter about Simo's lil' effort. Yamaha and Ducati have had the wood on 'em for what, the past 5 or 6 seasons? And now Pedrosa should have been in the box seat, but for that farkin' Aussie newcomer. And to re-break an already broken and plated collar bone just makes it doubly hard. How do ya race with a collar bone crunching away like a bowl of cornflakes?

I know. We all wind each other up, as do fans of all sports. Part of the fun I reckon.

I actually do REALLY feel for Pedrosa. He's one of THE fastest racers I've ever seen when he's on, but in my opinion he's in the past just not been 'on' often enough. And this year...well it was looking like he'd finally got it all sorted then got hurt again. So man...a real bad buzz for him.

I'm starting to wonder though, what will happen if Stoner doesn't start winning races? Mathematically Pedro could still win it, but let's face it...it's a hell of a long shot. If Lorenzo keeps peeling Stoner back...how long do you think it'll take HRC to ask Pedro to stop beating Stoner? And I'm sure we all know just how desperate HRC must be to win a Moto GP title in the 800CC era right?

So this could get REALLY interesting!!! Personally...I hate team orders, and so far, it's been great to see Dovi beat Stoner fair and square head to head, and Pedro too.

I wanna see if Stoner can keep it together and beat every cunt for the title through his own riding, not through team orders. It would be a real shame in my eyes though, if the race he dnf'd due to no fault of his own cost him the championship. I hope that's not playing with his head already.

All in all...so far? One of the best seasons I've been privy too in ages. Loving it. Got a few cheeky bucks on Spies to sneek the Laguna win, even though I don't think it'll happen due to how fast the Lorenzo/Pedro/Stoner show are going.

Bet there are a few good scraps right throughout the field again too.

    Go Bautista too!!!

WTF Riders are there to do a job. And that job is not to entertain...................

Pedrosa and Stoner are often criticised for being dour and that wouldn't worry them in the least. They do the business where it counts.

In my experience the most successful competitors are those that say little of their exploits. Like Ben Spies. Whereas the loquacious types are little more than Pit Posers.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Well it takes all sorts and you're welcome to sit in a dark corner staring morosely into your half empty glass of warm piss with your dull buddies Ben and Danny talking about how fucking hardcore you all are.

I'd rather have a laugh and a few beers with Rossi, Simoncelli, Edwards, Hayden, Capirossi and Lorenzo... de Puniet can bring the chicks.

    Agreed.

Like it or not, spectators watch this for entertainment. Who wants to cheer for a wet blanket?

See what I mean? That's where the talking (and the acting) counts. We have watched some fucking great racers performing at LS.
